- What is the age group, ‘Mini Tennis’ can be started ?
Ans: The age group is 5 years onwards to 12 years.
- Are the Racquets Heavy, long ?
Ans: The Racquets are smaller (19”, 21”) and lighter, when compared to a regular 27” length and 320 gms to 380 gms.
- Are the balls (High pressure) used the same as used in regular ‘Tennis’ practice?
Ans: No, the balls used here are soft balls, jumbo balls, sponge balls, pink balls, colour balls, pressure less balls and all these are special equipments which use used for ‘Mini Tennis’.
- We don’t have a Tennis Court, can we introduce ‘Mini Tennis’ in our school ?
Ans: Yes, you can introduce ‘Mini Tennis’ in your school, if you have a space of 40 feet x 40 feet (on the size of a throw ball court)
- Who will provide the Tennis court ?
Ans: Once the agreement is done between FMS & your school, the company will build the Tennis Court at their cost.
- Who will provide Tennis Racquets, Tennis Balls and other accessories ?
Ans: The FMS will provide
a)Tennis Racquets
b)Tennis Balls free of cost to the children to use and return back after their Tennis practice.
- Who will coach the children ?
Ans: A qualified Tennis professional will be placed from the company (FMS) at your school who will be there from –
Time : School time (9 am to 4 pm) or as per school timings
Days : Monday to Friday
- What is the benefit to children ?
Ans: The benefits to children are :
1.They don’t have to “Buy” or Bring Tennis Racquets or Tennis balls etc. as it is provided by FMS.
2.It is played in the school ground during school hours (during P.T. periods)
3.It is played with their group and level of friends.
4.Tennis is introduced to children at an early age (5+ years)
5.It is provided at a very Nominal cost.
Note: The “Clubs” have Tennis Courts, and they allow only ‘Members’ to play. Memberships to these clubs are very expensive.
- What is the benefits to parents ?
Ans: The benefits to parents are :
1.Traveling to Clubs / Academy takes a lot of time to travel. This travel time (Traffic-jam etc.) is saved, as ‘Mini Tennis’ program happens in the school & during school hours.
2.There is ‘No’ need to spend money on buying Tennis Racquets, Tennis Balls, Tennis Coach etc. as it is provided by FMS.
3.All children get an opportunity to be introduced to ‘Tennis’ at a very early age (5+ years) and at a Nominal cost.
4.This ‘Mini Tennis’ program gives an opportunity for the child, parent & Coach to identify the hidden talent which can be used for further follow up competitive, recreational programs.
- What is the benefits to schools?
Ans: The benefits to schools are, It gets a ‘International sport’ ‘Mini Tennis’ at absolutely zero cost (as all the court construction cost, equipment cost, Coach cost is taken up by FMS). The school has the honour of introducing Tennis to children at a Nominal cost, providing all the facilities (Tennis Racquets, Tennis Balls, Tennis Coach etc.) in their school play ground. They help the children learn this sport and practice it for their lifetime.
